Want a quick and easy way to increase customer satisfaction and engagement? Start talking to your customers!
Let your customers know they can message you with Facebook ads. Facebook Messenger makes it incredibly easy to start chatting directly with your customer base, even though the process isn't all that obvious.
Not to worry, because by the end of this article, you'll know every single step it takes to set up a Messenger ad on Facebook.
Lets get this ball rolling!
First off, head to your Facebook brand/company page as an admin. Just below your cover photo you'll see a blue + Add a Button, hit it and a pop will appear.
Note: some pages might already have a button set up, like Contact Us. Not to worry. If that's the case, just scroll over the big blue button and hit “edit button” from the drop-down menu that appears.
Now you're at the button-edit pop-up screen. Hit the Choose a Button drop-down menu.
Click on Send Message.
This is when you should personalize your Instant Reply Message to fit your brand, or turn off Instant Replies altogether if you'd like. Click on Save Changes and the first few steps are done!
After your Send Message button is added, just put your cursor over the button and click Promote from the drop-down menu.
The Ad Creative pop-up menu will appear.
Here's where you get to personalize your Messenger ad to fit your brand's unique needs. Craft a compelling headline, edit the ad's text, create a budget, and make sure to target your audience to reach the most people possible.
Oh, and don't forget to see how your ad will look on mobile, too!
Once you have everything on your Messenger ad perfectly perfect, simply click the Promote button and your ad will be sent to Facebook for review.
After that, your Facebook page now has it's own Messenger Ad, prompting users to directly engage with your brand. Congrats!
But wait, just one more thing!
You can even get talking to customers through Messenger while they're on your website, thanks to two Facebook plugins.
You can install the Message Us or Send to Messenger Plugin on your website or in your emails, and Facebook has all the code ready for you. Both will start a conversation with a customer, it just depends what you want out of it, so consider either one an option.
Turn those conversations in customers; happy messaging everyone!
